What is the Mermaid Facial?

How Does it Work?

We use a proinfusion device or microneedling to create channels in the skin. We then infuse those  open channels with a cocktail of biostimulators. These biostimulators activate the body’s cells,  triggering the production of collagen and elastin fibers, which are the vital components of healthy,  youthful-looking skin. This process, known as neocollagenesis, is essential for maintaining skin  health and elasticity. The result is improved skin elasticity and reduced fine lines & wrinkles. Components of the Facial

Light Eyes: This “Non-surgical Bleph in a bottle” is our all-natural micronutrient serum. Specifically  made for the eyes, Light Eyes is microstamped on the brow line, upper eyelid and below the eye -  providing immediate improvement in dark circles, puƯiness, creepiness, fine lines, and subtle  volume loss.  

Lips (Bacio): Using a special serum just for the lips consisting of Hyaluronic Acid + B12, Bacio can  be microstamped to just the lip area - or depending - can be applied to the perioral area to help with  dimpling in the chin, the marionette lines around the mouth, and fine lines above the lips actually  helping with structure.   • 2 days prior:

    Avoid ibuprofen or blood thinning supplements, including St. John’s Wort, Gingko biloba, primrose  oil, garlic, ginseng, and Vitamin E.  

    Avoid topical products such as Tretinoin (Retin-A), Retinol, Retinoids, Glycolic Acid, or any “anti aging” products.  

    Avoid treatments such as waxing, bleaching, tweezing, or using hair removal cream on the area to  be treated.  

    You may start taking over-the-counter Arnica tablets found at your local pharmacy. Start at least  two days prior to the procedure, following the medication instructions.  

    If you have a history of facial cold sores, there is a risk that the treatment can contribute to another  active cold sore/s. Please let your doctor prescribe an antiviral medication, such as valacyclovir  (Valtrex®), to start taking a few days before the procedure.  

    If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, it’s a NOPE.  

    Avoid if you suspect that you have an allergy to any ingredients  

    If you are being treated for an active infection, PLEASE stay home until you finish your antibiotics  and/or antiviral prescription.  

    Clear your schedule of any major events for 1-2 days or so after your treatment. You may still have  some swelling and redness, especially if treated around the eyes and lips. 

  • We will always conduct a thorough consultation with you prior to any procedure to make treatment  recommendations to meet your cosmetic needs, review your medical and past cosmetic history,  discuss treatment options, expected recovery, longevity of results, and go over any risks involved  with the procedure. Prior to any cosmetic treatments, it is required to fill out any required medical  history and consent forms. It is also standard to take before and after photos for your medical  chart. If unable to do any of these, then we will not be able to treat you.  

    If we have decided that this treatment is the best option for you, we will prepare your skin by  cleansing the treatment areas. The treatment is fairly quick, taking anywhere from 10-25 minutes to  complete. Once the treatment is completed, you will have some redness that will minimize with the  application of our CO2 Pro Lift mask and or Hyaluronic mask with red light. 

  • Don’t expect to see results when leaving the office. Typically, it can take days to weeks after  your 3rd recommended session for your best results! However, clients have noticed great results  after just ONE TREATMENT! For the most part, recovery after is fairly simple. Many people resume  their usual activities within 24 hours. 

    You might notice that there is some redness in the treated areas which is expected after any  treatment. Please speak with your provider of what to use for skincare following your treatment.
